Gathers Ground runs everything that happens after the booking. Changeovers, checks, certificates, suppliers and guest messages, gathered into one record instead of scattered across WhatsApps, spreadsheets and paper in a drawer.
It came out of a real business rather than a whiteboard. The Firs, a Suffolk bolthole two of us co-own, is where the operating model came from and where every part of this gets used before anyone else sees it.
It does not replace the system you take bookings with. Stays import from the calendar you already use, so nothing has to move for it to start being useful.
The point is a calm view of the week. What is due, what is done, and what is about to be missed, across every property you look after.
What it does
One record per stay, per property. What is due, what is done, and what nobody has picked up yet.
Certificates, readings and expiry dates kept against the property they belong to, rather than in a folder someone has to remember.
Stays import from the calendar you already use. Nothing has to be migrated for the rest of it to work.
A QR code in the room opens a welcome guide, an itinerary, an honesty shop or a job list. Nothing for the guest to download.
Offer the extras and ask for the review after the stay, instead of meaning to and then not.
Talk at your phone on the walk round and it turns into tasks. Written for people whose hands are usually full.
Where it is
Gathers Ground is in build. The software is real and runs against a real property every week, but it is not open for general sign-up and there is no pricing page to send you to.
gathersground.com is up, but it is a coming-soon page, so this page is still the fullest description of what the software does.
If you run somewhere that would use it, we would rather build the next part alongside someone real than guess at it.
